About Jen.

Health and Fitness has always been a big part of my life. By playing volleyball growing up and continuing my career in college, I have had my fair share of injuries. I herniated a disc in my back and had to end my college career early, I found myself looking for ways to workout without hurting myself again. This developed my passion for exercise and led me to taking my NASM exam and becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.

I have been personal training and teaching group exercise since 2016, along with coaching high school volleyball for the past 6 years. My love for training others gave me the determination to obtain a masters degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in 2019. I have loved helping others of all ages and fitness levels work towards their health and fitness goals, reach their potential, and overcome injuries.

After hearing such great things about Workout1, I decided to go to one of Emily's classes. The energy and enthusiasm that spread throughout the room immediately had me hooked! Since starting as an instructor at Workout1 in June of 2019, I have been honored to have the opportunity to see members grow in their capabilities and genuinely enjoy their workouts.

I look forward to working with individuals who are ready to make a change and enjoy the benefits of physical fitness!
