About Emily.I vividly remember the days of doing sit–up after sit–up after sit–up in hopes of one day, maybe, getting the six pack that I always dreamed of. After I performed my circuit of hundreds of sit–ups, I would proceed to the weight machines, performing reps at each machine in the circle at the local YMCA. After this, I would have to force myself to get on the treadmill and run for as long as I could stand it. Six years and two babies later, my workouts, and my results, have changed dramatically. I have discovered Functional Fitness, and my life has not been the same since. Working your body as a whole, and not isolating one muscle group at a time, Functional Fitness mimics real life movements, which in turn, maximizes the efficiency of your workout. Our bodies are designed to move in many different directions, and use multiple muscle groups simultaneously — why not train this way? My passion for exercise led me to become a personal trainer. I became certified through NASM, and started training at Bally Total Fitness in February of 2008. With a baby and a busy lifestyle, my workouts needed to be fast and effective. I began creating Boot Camp workout routines, and couldn't believe the amazing results! Boot Camp Workouts changed my life so much that I wanted to share them with as many people as I could, so I started Saline Fitness in January of 2009. It truly has been a dream come true. My belief in Boot Camp Workouts, and passion for exercise have helped turn my dreams into a reality. I love designing workouts and coming up with new exercises. I personally do almost every workout that I create, just to make sure they are worthy Boot Camp material. My number one priority is making the workouts fun, creative, and different every day. If I get bored with my workouts, then I know my clients probably will too. I take pride in coming up with workouts that are not ordinary, and are not like anything else you have done before. |
